Praise for the Drum Doctor

Ross,

My name is Matthew Blackmar and I'm writing on behalf of my band, The
Library, to thank you for your exceptional service during our session
yesterday at Bill Schnee Studios. The session was a tremendous success
thanks, in large part, to the '57 Gretsch Roundbadge sounding so
unbelievably great!

We can't wait to work with you again in the future!

Best,

Matthew Blackmar

Ross,

I just wanted to say hello. I’ve been out of the biz since about 1990, 2 kids, ex wife, and I own a business.

I recently received some demos I recorded as an artist before I worked in Hollywood and they got my creative juices flowing.

I picked up a copy of Pro Tools and start playing with drum sounds.

Any chance you still have any of the samples you took at my sessions at Music Grinder laying around? Megadeth?

When we got things sounding good you would grab a sample before heading out to your next lucky client.

I will check out your CDs.

Congratulations on all your success. You were a big part of my success as a Producer. Your fees were a big part of my tiny budgets but worth every dime and more.

I really enjoyed working with you.

Cheers!

Randy Burns

Ross just got done working with the Sex Pistols At The Roxy. Paul Cook used one of Ross's custom kits for the show. These drums were hand picked specificaly to get across that sexy punky Sex Pistols vibe.

Praise for the Drum Doctor

Hey Ross,

I got a chance to record on the Ludwig kit over the weekend. I really never thought I'd hear this kit sound so good! I had really given up all hope. As soon as I hit the kick drum I had a big smile on my face - they sound amazing! Your custom snare drum is also a thing of beauty! I am blown away. Thank you so much for such a stellar job and thanks to the Drum Doctors staff for being nothing but cool!

I haven't had a chance to record with the Gretsch kit, but I wasn't worried about that one. I really thought the Ludwig was done for, but you have resurrected it and I was immediately impressed by how good it sounded under the microphones.

Thanks again!
Tom Brayton

Dear Ross,

I want to thank you for the personal service you provided last week for the drum rental. The Sonor kit was fabulous looking and sounded even better. The band played great and the party wentoff without a hitch. Thanks for being part of the reason!

Happy holidays!

Ross-
Just wanted to say thanks again for the great sounding kit and cymbals. Our gig at The Roxy went well, we sold-out the club and most of the night there was a line out the door and down the street of people waiting to get in. Here is our current CD. I sincerely hope I get to experience your services again in the future.
Best Wishes

Dig this set we just acquired from Steve Ferrone. Steve is currently drumming for Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers and has played for such artists as Eric Clapton, Duran Duran, and Average White Band, to name a few. This set is a Pearl Prototype made especially for Steve. We have never heard a better set of Pearl drums. These are available now for renting.
